Testimonies:

Joy Miller...Joy Miller is 22 years old, and she has a one year old
son. Joy lived a very difficult childhood. She grew up with no indoor
plumbing, and many nights there was no heat in her home. She did
not have a relationship with her father. When Joy was nine months pregnant with her son, her mother passed away, and after the baby
was born, Joy was unsure of how to care for him. She attempted to
live in the same home in which she had lived as a child, but many
nights there was no heat for her baby, and no way of warming his bottles, or to give him a warm bath. She packed everything she
owned, which was very little, and moved to a homeless shelter in Charlotte. She now resides in Naomi’s house where she has
learned to take care of her child, and she is currently working.
She is also enrolled in nursing school. Her life has been truly transformed through Blessings in the Storm.
